Sunshine by Danny Boyle
Space thriller. The scene where he jumps between ships is the most intense scene I’ve ever seen! also, the metaphor of light throughout the movie is beautiful.
Ondine
This movie is beautiful. The visuals, acting, storytelling and soundtrack( Sigur Ros) entrance you into the movies mystical setting. Also, everyone’s Irish.

Bill Sienkiewicz: art for Frank Miller’s ‘Elektra Assassin’
I’ve always had this notion that courage was something of the heroes, those greater than I, facing things so much greater than himself and who had the world relying upon him. I never saw it as something I could really attain, as I have never faced such profound odds, or had everything good relying upon me. But yesterday Prof Mazellan was talking in class about bravery and I realized something. Bravery is not about the scale of what you are facing, but the act of facing it. You can be brave making a phone call, or be brave simply sitting down and painting. Being brave is an action. I’ve always wanted to be seen as a brave person, someone willing to stand against the waves and fight to stay on their feet. So I challenged myself to something. I must be Brave, I must make that phone call, and sit down and paint. Because I must be Brave.
